Without The Cross
Jesus taught us how to live
How to pray and how to give,
He taught us how to love one another
To walk hand in hand with our brother,
But without the cross where He died
His teachings would not be applied.
He would have been just a man
Who left footprints in the sand.
Father, I mourn Your great loss,
I thank You Jesus for the cross.
