Thanksgiving is a special day

That comes but once a year,

When we give thanks for all our blessings,

For family and friends so dear.

But Thanksgiving should be like Christmas,

Alive in our hearts everyday.

And for the blessing God gave on Christmas,

Let us bow down our heads and pray.

Not just once a year, but all year through.

Each and every moment we must savor,

Giving thanks and praise to God above

For the gift of our dear savior.

For family and friends, love and health

Give thanks, but let us always remember;

The blessing that holds the greatest wealth

Is that of our Redeemer.
