There’s a still, small voice softly calling, You must listen closely if you hear. In the midst of trouble and sorrow Learn to stop and tune your ear. For It longs to give you comfort, Saying. "I am with you, have no fear."
But sometimes we tend to forget When life goes along without a care, In the midst of our joy and laughter, Our happiness, It longs to share. So stop a moment and give thanks, You’ll find It’s always there.
It was given as a gift From the Father up above, For guidance and comfort, The gift of His perfect love. Learn to listen and you’ll hear It, The voice of the sweet, Holy Spirit. By Lora Cox ©2002
