SONGS IN THE NIGHT

Inspired by Job 35:10

I walk the servants pathway,

Sometimes with no rest in sight,

But onward I plod by the grace of God

And He gives me His songs in the night.

Sometimes my days are stormy,

Sometimes my days are long,

But I while them by knowing God on high

 Blesses  me in the night with His song.

I live for the songs He gives me

In the silence of the night,

And with joy I sing like the bells that ring,

Filling my soul with delight.

I walk the servants pathway

Trudging on with all my might,

Led by the hand of God as onward I trod,

And He gives me His songs in the night.
