MY
TREASURES
Dear
Lord, I treasure the moments
At
the starting of my day,
When
all is quiet and peaceful
And
I can kneel and pray.

For
in the turmoil of life
The
moments are so very few,
When
I can steal away
To
spend some time with you.

I
thank you for each blessing, Lord,
I’ve
had more than my share,
And
if I should ask for more,
It
would be for moments, spent in prayer.

For
I’d rather have the moments,
More
than fame or wealth.
So
precious are the moments
When
I have you to myself.

I
count each tiny moment
A
treasure beyond compare.
Worth
more than gold or silver
Are
my moments with you in prayer.

I'd Rather Have Jesus
I'd rather have Jesus than silver or
gold,
I'd rather be His than have riches
untold;
I'd rather have Jesus than houses or
land,
I'd rather be led by His nail pierced
hand

(chorus)
Than to be the king of a vast domain
And be held in sin's dread sway;
I'd rather have Jesus than anything
This world affords today.

I'd rather have Jesus than men's
applause,
I'd rather be faithful to His dear
cause;
I'd rather have Jesus than worldwide
fame,
I'd rather be true to His holy name.

(chorus)
He's fairer than lilies of rarest
bloom
He's sweeter than honey from out the
comb
He's all that my hungering spirit
needs
I'd rather have Jesus and let him
lead.

(chorus)
