By the still waters He leads me.

I rest in His love divine

As His living waters flow inward,

Refreshing, restoring this soul of mine.

I need but sit and listen

With all my heart and soul,

And He comforts me in the stillness

As His living waters gently flow.

I sit alone with my Saviour

And into the water I gaze

Knowing His goodness and mercy

Are with me for all of my days.

Oh, thank you Lord for the filling

Of your living waters in me.

And thank you Lord for the promise

That someday, your face I will see.

Please Lord, purify me with living waters

Flowing into my soul each day,

Until my life here is over

And I come into your presence to stay.
