For The Beauty Of The World

Oh Lord, how my soul lifts up in praise

When I see the works of Thy hand,

In all the magnificent wonders

Displayed throughout the land.

I see the misty mountain peaks

Reaching up to touch the sky,

The forest glades so rich and green

And the splendor of a sunrise.

I see the mighty ocean waves,

Behold the wonders of a starry night

And wild flowers in a meadow

Sparkling like diamonds in morning light.

For the beauty of the world,

From sea to shinning sea,

My soul in awesome wonder

Lifts up in praise to Thee.
